Items discussed:

  • This Saturday, there will be a swap meet at the radio museum, starting at 9am, with “a lot of stuff” available
  • Skip urged vigilance in the wake of KB1AEV being turned off due to jamming
  • Skip asked us to save the date – the Simsbury Fly-In is the 23rd of September; we aren’t yet confirmed to have space, but some help would be appreciated if we’re invited in.
  • Next week’s meeting will occur at its regularly scheduled time; we will be voting on a proposed bylaw change to remove the requirement that the regular meeting be the second Tuesday. Expect some discussion about finding an alternate date for meetings.
  • NARL is starting up a swap net after their regular weekly net. (Update: The NARL website lists their regular net as Thursday evenings at 7:30; they meet on the W1AW repeater, 145.45, PL 127.3)

Thank you, Michael D. Adams (N1EN)
